Hi, Friends! What have you planned to watch this weekend? Well, here is an interesting movie and something which is more than just entertainment!



Anna – Kisan Baburao Hazare, is more than just a movie. It is a biopic on social activist Anna Hazare, who fought against corruption through movement such as India Against Corruption in 2011 which created the way for the passage of Jan Lokpal Bill which seeks to create an independent body to investigate corruption. Also, it led to the formation of the Aam Aadmi Party.

Political leader Arvind Kejriwal does not feature anywhere in the 141-minute film. Moreover, nobody from the India Against Corruption movement is seen reports Scroll.in. Perhaps, this is the reason why people like this movie as it is more focused on Anna Hazare and his great work.

I genuinely feel such biopics are rare to find these days as most of the movies are either focused on romantic genres or action packed! Hence, don’t miss this opportunity.
